Removing a bike tire from the rim can be tricky, especially if it's a tight fit. Here are some tips to help you get it off without breaking another tire lever: Technique for Removing a Bike Tire from the Rim. Make sure all the air is out by pressing down on the valve. If it's a Presta valve, unscrew and press it; for Schrader, press the valve pin. Push the Bead into the Center of the Rim. The center channel of the rim is slightly deeper, which gives the bead more room to move. This will make it easier to pull the tire off.

Alex Karogroulis, chief design engineer of the A-bike, takes you through the simple procedure of replacing a punctured or damaged tyre inner tube.

Sorry! I don't know of other UK sources of 6" inner tubes.
Maybe you can buy them from China.

Hi,

Is there a technique for removing the tyre from the rim of the bike? I've successfully broken 1 tyre lever in the process, but am no closer to success!

I'm also in need of a new 6" inner tube, but can't reach mayhem on email, and the website has been broken in one way or another for quite a while now. Does anyone know of any other UK sources?

Thanks
