Shall I get an A-bike

Postby Guest on Mon Jun 02, 2008 2:37 pm

I have switched to using the bus to get to work recently, but the bus drops me off around5-10 minutes from work at the top of a hill. I was thinking I could get a small bike to almost literally roll all the way to work.

After having a look on the good old internet the A-bike seems great for it's fold up size so I can easily carry it on the bus with me.

I have seen an imitation one I can get for £40, do you think it would be ok, I am 15st so I was worried about weight and the longevity of the A-bike.

Any advice?

15 stone is some 95.25 kg or 219 LBS. Isn't that some 10 kg too much
or the Original and the mock ups most likely are even more fragile?

But sure, one can be 110kg and still use it for a while but it stress the material considerably. a kind of Russian roulette on high speed. :)
