Dual bike transport

Postby Stevbike on Tue Aug 03, 2010 4:40 pm

Hello all

I was delivering a recumbent tandem bike I built to a new home. I order to get back home on my own, I straped the A-bike copy I have on to the rear seat of the tandem so I could ride the small bike home. The return ride was 4.367 km and I averaged 15.7 kph, the fastest average speed to date. It is nice to see that you do not need a car to get things transported on short trips.

Exactly!
Me too had the same problem, which got solved by the existence of portable bicycles.

Here is a picture that a newspaper photograger took the same day I took my pictures. It shows that life can be lived without a car at times.
