a) start of sales of all sorts of spare parts listed as "coming soon"

This is what you expected to see after the mid of Dec:
b) reopening sale of A-bike
https://www2.abike-shop.com/abike_backorder_enquiry.htm

Now, what can we see?
a) Even only one of the spare parts is NOT on sale, including tires and tubes. Does he want to tell us to ride A-bike without any flat tire for this long?
b) There has NOT been any message from the shop to a customer who back ordered.

Besides, he is said to have been to a foregin country for the last whole week, making an excuse that his absense is to join a business show there.

We can see that he avoided his responsibility to respond to customers requests and inruiries during the period. Actually I have not got his response for over ten days by now! :?

What a wonderful shop!! 8)

Is he reading here?
The web has just been updated!
It claims "Christmas Special Offer" now.

When you start from http://www.abike-shop.com/ to move http://www.abike-shop.com/abike_eshop.htm, however, you still see the old "back order" page.
You need to follow the sequence from https://www2.abike-shop.com/ to https://www2.abike-shop.com/abike_eshop.htm to see the new page for ordering.
(a good example of chaotic status of the shop)

Even with the price and a special chiristmas offer of free T-shirt, I do not advise any of you to use this shop, because of the following reasons:
a) The shop has not complied with almost every possible promise it had made by itself. The only exception was that it "somehow" managed to ship geniune A-bikes in hands of its customers, but not in time in most cases.
b) The shop now responds rarely to customers inquires and requests. Even if it does, the responses are just "putting off" things over weeks and just meaningless ones.
c) The shop has not started to sell spare parts and accessories even it claimed to do without shipping fee, which is crucial for you to keep A-bike running.
d) The repairperson at the shop seemed to be a layperson, in that he sent back a spare part of a wheel with some scracthes on it, which clearly suggests it was removed from already assembled A-bike without much care. And this is the best service we could get at the shop right at this moment, if any. In some cases, you have to wait till he comes back from a trip!
e) As already shown here, some of its responses do not make sense at all, either in grammar or in meaning. This causes really frustrating situation after purchase. Unthoughtful excuses of lateness accelerate this as well.
f) ...want to hear more??? I do not think so.

About Us

Abike-shop is an entity of Noble Hall Limited, it offers you unprecedented access to the worlds smallest and lightest folding bikes via worldwide express delivery.

The website was launched in June 2006. Abike-shop sells authentic abike product and accessories worldwide. Our virtual pages feature slick and original content, photographs and features showcasing the latest products available for purchase.

I am too shocked to know this.

If these statements are not lie,
1) why do I have to wait for its answer for over two weeks?
2) why isn't there any accumulated Q&A at the same page? It IS "Customer Service section"!!!
3) why doesn't it sell accessories which should be available for purchase?

I have lost my words now...

Say it to the shop? I have already done so and you know the result, don't you? :x

Now the shop is really kidding us.

Here is the response to long waited inquiries over 2 weeks!

1000 emails at everyday!

What a dork!

Anyway, another great myth is now added.

Hi thatsme,

It seems that City'super doesn't provide online purchasing service so I think you'd better send an e-mail to the A-bike distributor in Hong Kong directly for asking the details. In my experience, they made quick response to my enquiries and seemed to be helpful.

Here is the e-mail address:

Why is the website of MHM the same as Noble Hall Ltd?

I think that is the A-bike online shop instead of MHM's website.
Here is the website of MHM:
http://www.mhm.com.hk

However, I have no idea about the relation between the two companies.

hi, here is the reply from city super.
very kind i should say.

Thanks thatsme for supporting city'super! I too wish I could sell to you directly.
Yes, the price from HK is cheapest and very competitive, they expect a lot of overseas order through this site.
Yes, they don't have a phone number on the web site, you can email them for enquiry and should be answered within 24 hours. If you encounter problem, pls email me and I'll ask the company to contact you immediately.

The signature of my email says Japan Buying Office with the address at Meguro. We are sorry that the Japan office is helping us to source Japanese products and sell in Hong Kong and Taiwan, there is no function to export items from HK to Japan. So the only way is to order to the HK web site I gave you. Let me know if you need help again.

Thanks.

Another shocking news from the HK shop, which is still on Christams sale, has come in!

Accorging to a report, the shop owner told the following things:
1) a distributor in Japan which has no relationship to the shop finally got the exclusive import and sales contract of A-bike in Japan.
2) because of this, the HK shop has no right to sell A-bike in Japan. Therefore the plan of the HK shop to establish service hotline and repair centers in Japan is no longer possible.
3) the HK shop still tries its best to keep the quality of service as is.
4) the retail price in Japan set by the distributor would be around $90,000.

My analysis:
1) has been expected for a long time, because there would be a plan to sell A-bike in Japan from this month even back in the last summer.
2) this is quite natural, if the statement is true. The reporter doubts that it is merely an excuse for the HK shop to escape from its obligations to launch such network over in Japan, suggesting that the distributor is, on the contrary, closely related to the HK shop.
3) this is quite natural and is not worth commenting.
4) must be a mistake. The reporter thinks so too. We assume that the HK shop owner mistook dollar to yen. The correct retail price would be around 90,000 yen, yet too expensive though. Personally, I think some of the Japanese will buy at this high price because they are so rich!!! :D
