Mayhem UK the worldwide distributor and manufacturer of the A-bike is pleased to announce that it has completed a licensing agreement with Mind n Life of China. Under this agreement Mind N life will be authorised to manufacture and distribute the A-bike Smart in China PRC. The A-bike Smart has been specifically designed for the Chinese market. Mayhem UK will provide technical support to Mind N Life to assist in the production of the A-bike Smart.The A-bike Plus will continue to be manufactured in Taiwan for the export market.
In addition to the A-bike smart AS530 product, Mayhem and Mind n Life plan to launch the other A-bike Smart series product with sales channels in PRC in early August 2009.
They also plan to take action against the number of companies making and selling counterfeits.
The A-bike was designed by Sir Clive Sinclair and Alex Kalogroulis in 2006.The innovative and original design has spawned a number of copycat makers in China . However these copy manufacturers will now face legal action. Clara of Mind N life says we will clean up the PRC market and remove all infringing copies most of which are extremely dangerous to ride. Our aim is to provide a good reliable A-bike smart suitable for commuters and customers and a comprehensive after sales service.
